Studio-grade voice. The default R.ai voice is warm and conversational. You can swap to a different voice — male, female, accent, or regional — or commission a custom voice for your brand. We play samples on your discovery call.

Every call opens with a recording disclosure (a legal requirement). Most callers don't notice it's AI; the ones who do typically thank R.ai by name on the next call.

What if R.ai can't handle a call?

R.ai transfers to your designated back line. The default triggers: any allergy mention, a request to speak to a human, or three failed clarification attempts.

What about credit card security?

Customer card payments process through Stripe Checkout — R.ai never stores card numbers, CVV, or expiration dates. Restaurant subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe.

Does it work with my POS?

Square, Toast, and Clover integrations are live. If your POS isn't on the list, we build custom adapters — we have done niche systems in days, not weeks.

How long does setup take?

Three to ten business days. Day one: your existing number forwards to R.ai. After we port the number (1–2 weeks), R.ai answers directly.

What happens after the 14-day trial?

$1,750/month and R.ai answers on the first ring instead of after four. If you walk away, we port your number back the same day. No long-term contract.

What if R.ai mis-hears an order?

R.ai reads back every order before charging. If the caller corrects, R.ai re-confirms. Mishears under 1% in our testing; full transcripts and recordings live in the dashboard so you can audit and dispute.

Can I pause R.ai if my kitchen is slammed?

Yes — one toggle in the dashboard. Callers get a polite "we're slammed, please call back in 15 minutes" with a callback offer.
